Dimitar Berbatov could be leaving Manchester United in the summer as manager Sir Alex Ferguson will decide whether to sell the Bulgarian international tomorrow.

Ferguson is set to convene with his senior staff for their annual discussion of which players should be kept and which should be sold.

With United faltering to a goalless draw with Blackburn Rovers on Sunday there have been questions about the striking options that support Wayne Rooney up front.

With his scouts compiling who they think should be purchased this summer, Ferguson could replace the inconsistent Berbatov with an expensive new face, withValencia hit man David Villa among the rumoured targets, according to The Mirror.

The 29-year-old’s value can only drop as he gets older, and if United get a bid at or near £20million they could take it and use the money to help secure a top striker.

Young Mexican striker Javier Hernandez recently signed with United, but the club still have to find future replacements for aging veterans Gary Neville, Ryan Giggsand Paul Scholes.

Berbatov came to United from Tottenham Hotspur for almost £31m in 2008, but the Bulgarian could be on the more once again.
